Caracal Portrait

One of my favourite small cats. This particular Caracal was observed on the South African and Botswana border. I spent hours watching this majestic cat hunting and amusing itself among the dry grass and scrub that covered the area. I used pencil to capture his fur and those tufts on the ears that are so characteristic to the Caracal.
